'Ello, my dearies. Back with a post again within a day since my last. Quite outta the ordinary eh? hahah. Anyway, dan dan (http://dan.i.ph/blogs/dan/)
has tagged me to list items I wanna get fer myself in 2008 (the first half of the year or as the list goes). So, here goes....

Travel

  • Well let's see here, I promised a friend I'll pay her a visit in Melbourne and crash in her place around June, so that's something to look forward to. We plan to hit Sydney and perhaps go to Goldfields for a little experience with wildlife. (Me, wildlife? I told u, New Sang come 2008!)
  • My family has been thinking about Disneyland for a while now (better hurry that up! Sang isn't getting younger and she might have to skip rides due to brittle bones as it is!) So hopefully I will be spending some time in Disneyland with the mice!

    Apparel

  • A Brown Poncho (how delightful with khakis)
  • Skinny Jeans
  • A proper pair of Sunglasses (my present one makes the ground seem unusally high!)

Gadgets

  • Motorazr (I need a frick'in flip phone!)
  • 16GB iPod Touch (my current ipod hates me)
  • A good pair of headphones (The white iPod ones hate my little ears. They pop out!)

Books

  • In Beautiful Disguises by Rajeev Balasubramaniam (i'm so sick of borrowing it over and over from the library!)
  • Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote (What do u do when u've seen the film over ten times? Read the book!)
  • Sybil by Flora Rheta Schreiber

Music

  • Greatest Hits - 18 Kids - Keith Urban
  • The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Soundtrack (Various Artists)

DVD

  • 9 to 5 (Man, they released it this yr on DVD yeah? Hopefully it can be found here..I love this film)
  • Dumbo (I whine about not having it but I still haven't bought it...My beautiful baby elephant!)
  • Charlie's Angels Season 1 Box Set (Oh that Fawcett 'do...Flipped into perfection!)

Well so here's my list all ready and hopefully the items will be able to show themselves by June in my house...Hahaha.

I'm tagging everyone my blogroll to do this, hopefully by the first week of Jan. Set yourself some materialistic goals! Hahahaha. Happy New Year!

What an absolutely devastating manner to end the year in. I hate politics, I really do. Yet letting an entry go by without me touching on Benazir Bhutto just doesn't seem right. It is not for the loss of a politilcal leader that I mourn for but rather for a mother of three children. Pakistan's hopes for democracy has died with Benazir Bhutto. She leaves behind a country that formerly harboured potential democratic ruling thoughts but now is just a country stuck in a wide hole filled with chaos and confusion, without any way out.

Assasination in the 21st Century...Is this really the kind of world we want our children to live in? Disgraceful as we let ourselves live in fear of terrorism. What's worse is, we are passing this fear to future generations. It has, rather, become part of the circle of life. There is no end to this miserable state. Bleakness resides in the future. A future of terror.

Rubik's cube is distorted. Colours strewn all over. Bad make. Perhaps it's a fake cube. An imposter of the real cube. The cube's cheap twin. I can't get it. I never can. I wanna throw it against the wall. But it might bounce back and hit me. Cheap thing, don't stare at me! I will not be judged by a cube! That too by one that is not the real make! I bow to thee, cube as you would me if I get your colours in order....But that is impossible......I hate you. Die, cube, die.

17 days till Christmas!

So i am currently hooked on Season 4 of Desperate Housewives....Ever since I went on a marathon for Season 3, I just had to continue with Season 4 and well you won't be disappointed when you watch it.

I am currently on chapter 3 for J.M. Coetzee's Disgrace. So far, I see a potential me leading the kind of lifystyle the protagonist, David Lurie lives. Frightful.

Mocks end on tuesday...I am leaning towards missing Tuesday....Drama....Victorians....Snoozefest......

Well weekend's here again. I'm thinking of cancelling dinner plans for tomoro nite...I might be still carrying this flu virus...I mean i think it's doing a number on my exhaustion level. I am feeling more tired today than i did yesterday and will probably feel more tired tomorrow than i did today. I miss partying. Big time.
