Bloody flu bug has laid a big one on me. I can't believe the timing. Right smack in the middle of heavy reading week and Josh's halloween party later today. Sigh.

I realised something yesteray while shopping with mom (flu bug bit me then i suppose!). Shopping malls in Orchard are very badly equipped. No seating or lack of it. Mom was rounding Metro (Paragon) and giddy me had to sit down and I realised then on the shortage of seats. So, what did I do? Settled down on the carpet among the rows of clothes, feeling like a child again.

Am I whining?. Blame it on the meds.

The Simpsons game on Facebook cracks me up. It's hilarious and when Homer fails to hit the thing I start cursing....it comes back and hits him....and i gotta start over. hahaha.

Ok. I need a life.

Ok here's the rundown.

My feet are killing me....again. I had a Black Russian again the other day and have come to a conclusion that it's def one of the few drinks that actually make me feel alive....Go figure.

I can't seem to finish King Lear for some bloody unknown reason. I mean how long does it take to read 5 Acts? I can't seem to get pass Act 1 and I've already spent a considerable amount of time on it. Mom thinks my mind is wandering as I read. I mean she was actually watching me stare at one page for like 10 minutes. Something's bloody wrong and I don't know what. Right this moment I feel like my life is stagnant. I mean I am actually not moving up or down...Of course down would be depressing....but no movement at all?!

I am still upping and downing to the hospital....I think my aunt has actaully worked this whole stay into her life. But it's a relief to see her enthusiastically waiting fot the day when the removal of casts occur. I mean if she's allowed herself to resign to this hospital life...I'd be alarmed.

I wanna watch a Celebrity Deathmatch between Mariska Hargitay and Connie Nielson....Hahah, that would be kick-ass action, man.

Go Pink for October

Ah, it's October again....Time to get that pink ribbon outta the box and show some solidarity & support and spread Breast Cancer Awareness around....I have been supporting this cause since 2003.....Got my ribbon this year from Delifrance but it looks a little weird. Too small.....and a lil too twisted around. So I'm still using my two year old one.

In America, Lee Jeans has declared this Fri (Oct 5th) as Lee National Denim Day ( http://www.denimday.com/). 'People are encouraged to wear their jeans and pledge abt 5 bucks to support the fight against breast cancer.' Now, I know people will always be cynical about the ribbon pins and perhaps even this idea constructed by Lee Jeans. But people, wake up. Complaining about it, is even worse than not showing any support. I mean if u find the ribbon-wearing ridiculous or this wearing jeans thing a facade of the real problem then well, you're certainly not doing anything either to help! It's a killer illness in the world. Hell why talk about the world when here at home it's as bad....A recent survey said 1 in 5 women......1 IN 5 WOMEN......that's not small...So come on now. Get out your pink ribbon, wear it proudly for the whole of October and show that you are aware of this ever growing problem and you support everthing that will be done to help fight the war against breast cancer!
