The Oscars this year seemed to be about snubbing. Felicity Huffman was snubbed. Dolly Parton was snubbed. Brokeback Mountain for the Best Movie category , was snubbed. Sigh.

Reese Witherspoon for Best Actress?! I mean even June Carter would agree that any other actress would have done a remarkable job portraying her...Let's see Witherspoon speak in a voice a few octaves lower and play a convincing tranny like Felicity Huffman.

And oh my gawd, Three 6 Mafia over Dolly Parton?! What the heck is the academy thinking. First they snubbed her 20 over yrs back for the song "9 to 5" Then they do a repeat this yr and snub her for "Travellin Thru".

Crash for Best Movie?! It's a good film I'm sure but look at the other nominees....The Oscars are so darn political, man.

With the Oscars becoming so poluitical, the main aim of the award seems to be lost.
