Bollywood Damakha!

Went for IIFA last Saturday (22 may) at Indoor Stadium...had a wild time.. dressed in my white salwaar..i mean i dunno why i never wore it before and all...made me look thinner and taller...heh heh........went wit my aunt..... show started around 7.30p.m and ended at around 11.45p.m...was hosted by the sweet and adorable Rahul Khanna which made it watchable! Each time Kal Ho Naa Ho was shown on the big screen, fans screamed...no i didn't scream..why? becoz...becoz...gee,... i dun know...anyway, i think shahid kapoor is a darling and really, kareena, rani and shilpa cld have given singapore a dance each...oh well.....disappointed that sushmitha sen wasn't there....kinda hoped that she would be down...oh and abhishek (bachan) looks so much like someone close to me...I mean the height, the way of talking and walking....AMAZING!!! they cld be brothers.....even the mannerisms!!! gawd!! anyway, iifa sure was a nite of colous and happiness as kal ho naa ho bagged most of the awards.... glad i went for it....Bollywood: Dazzling!

FRIENDS

hmmmm.... does anyone actually read my blog? Anyway, FRIENDS Season has ended in America....Wahhhhhh!!!!What'll I do without my 6 best friends???? Joey, Phoebe, Monica(!), Chandler, Ross and Rachel....Gawd.....I noe I noe...I just had to put Rachel's name at the end....What?! She doesn't get enuff hype as it is?...Anyway.......Central Perk...Wahhhhh!!!! The apartments!!! Wahhhh....New York....Wahhhh!!!! Phoebe: Smelly Cats, Smelly Cats, what are they feeding u? Smelly Cats,Smelly Cats, it's not your fault!!! WAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I want them back....Season 11, perhaps? Why in the world does Singapore have to show Season 10 sooo late? After it ends, then, it begins here.......Groannnnnn........

Mummy Dearest

Mother's Day was nice...I gave my mommy a magnet which had a thank-you msg to a mother for all she's done.....Also gave her a framed poem like thing about mothers..... Mumsy dearest, always never believing in displaying any emotions...but nevertheless I cld swear by it tat she liked it.....I mean it was a small gift and all....nothing big. Just something to let her know and remind her how much she's loved and appreciated......Mummy, mummy, mummy.....I think I wld just die witout her....

YAMASANG

Ho-hum.....Watched the ending of Original Sin on Star Movies just now around 10.45 ...have watched it so many times but still never seem to get tired of it...must be jolie's charm working on sangee! heh heh... okie that sounded so lesbian!...feeling cranky rite now. Listening to 90.5....They're not playing anything good now....Friday nite... Days just keep on whizzing by and I'm still stuck in the past.... Feeling a little down... Sometimes I get this strange feeling that I was actually born during the 60's or 70's. whenever i hear songs of that time period, a wave of nostalgia flows thru me.i have no idea why.... if i ever did live during that time, i'm willingto bet on the last cent in my pocket, that i wld have been a HIPPIE!! Peace to the world... heh heh....Funny thing happened at PA yesterday....Only Rohit, Clarence, Li Min and I attended...Rest were either at the rehearsals for the musical or just plain tired ...Anyway, we were supposed to come up with an advertisement on any product or service. And well, the 4 of us came up wit something called YAMASANG.....Not gonna say what our ad was abt but we actually had the drama teacher laughing...A LOT....heh heh..... Nothing much to look forward to. Mid-yr exams coming up....Haven't been meeting up with me ex-school mates...missing them....especially the close ones....Diana, if you're reading this, dun get pissed. I'll call you soon okie? well, tat's abt it. time to do a little polevaulting....heh heh...ya right if i pole-vault outta my window, i'll end up dead on the wonderful cement downstairs. Hey wait a min...I just did an entry. What am I doing here again? Hmm.....Oh well, must be having a temporary case of amnesia.....Oh darn it...Mother's Day is on Sunday and I haven't thought of anything to get my mummy dearest.... Man, what does she have? Moe like what doesn't she have? Haven't a clue of wat to get her... Perfume? Nah. Her fave brand is outta my league... I can't afford that.. Flowers? Nah, they'll die..... Accessories? She has enuff to open a shop! Groan....Only abt 5 days left....Hopefully an idea will come soon.

Monday Blues

Howdee...... Have the flu.... Seems to be a little present Ming Ze brought back for me from Indonesia......groan.....everywhere hurts.....Spent the whole day today sleeping... Went to see the doc yesterday nite and he gave me MC for today.....sigh.... Anyway, on Wed, Faizah gave me a Finding Nemo clock and a cool ceramic pic frame....sweet Leny came to school on Thurs just to give me this lovely gift and a beautiful card she made for me....Man, these ppl spoil me rotten.... Not forgetting 3 of my closest frens from sec school still remembered my birthday. Diana made sure she was the first to wish me which she did at 12.01a.m on tues. Jiak Thiam and Lia sent cards...Sweet ppl.... Watched Mona Lisa Smile during the weekend.....Beyond what I had expected. Brilliant performance by Maggie Gyllenhaal. Do watch it if u haven't........
