Ever seen something that you ulitmately desire? Something u feel, that the immediate moment ur eyes set upon, that you have to have or at least be around? But in all reality, you know you will never be able to get it. So u start altering your life in order to be able to catch a glimpse of it. It was probably seen on your way to somewhere, on the t.v or even a surprising route you took by chance one day.

So, the next thing you do is, you start planning, altering your life just so somehow, at least once a week, you can at least catch a glimpse of this special item. You think about it everyday, every hour, every bloody second. You laugh when you realise how perfect your life would be if you are just able to get hold of this special item. Each time you see this item, your heart aches more. Yet you just can't tear yourself away from the beauty and magnificence of it.

Now the only problem is, it is not an item. It is a life-form human being. And the worst part of it?
This person doesn't even know you exist.
Welcome to the harsh reality of life that we combat to live in each day.

So after the extreme exhaustion I put my eyes through to complete the Deathly Hallows, I've been giving the little ol' eyesies a vacation of cucumbers, eyedrops, eye cream and just abt anything. Alrite I'm exaggerating. Scratch out the eye cream. I can't imagine smearing my eyes with anything...creamy.
So I was at the DVD rental store the other day, cracking my head what to rent. That's when I realised The History Boys was already out. So rented myself a copy. What can I say? I think it's one of the most maginificently written stories I've seen in quite q while. I mean most of it is shot in the school but it is not the venues of shooting but the contents of the film that makes it so different and refreshing. It holds subject matter that could tear you right out. And yes, Stephem Campbell Moore makes his character Irwin even more interesting than it would have been, had it been played by someone else.

Anyway, next up on my list to watch is Snow Cake. It stars Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman. It has good reviews and Sigourney is chipped to get an Oscar nomination for playing an autistic woman. Check out the trailer.

Well well. What can I say? Every chapter drips with such delicious intensity. The final ending is a lil weird. But the journey the book takes is brilliant. I mean every loose end left from Philosopher's Stone to Half-Blood prince, is tied in the final one. No, don't worry, I am not gonna spoil it for you if you haven't read it. I think J.K.R really emptied her imagination box in this one. It just gets u enchanted immediately from the first chapter. Nice twist towards the end but I'm not so sure abt the very end though. I actually expected something a lil....hmm...different. :-)

So, the Potter mania is back. The film is ok. Watched it today with TAG. She prefers The Goblet of Fire. For me, well I can't really complain. Everything seems better than The Chamber of Secrets. I'm still suffering from a temporary deafness (at least i hope it's temporary). One of the best lines of the movie - "Dumbledore's got style!" Hehehe.
Dixie Chicks - Top Of The World. One of the most brilliantly shot videos...

So, was messing around with someone the other day when we realised that our dreams and the reality we are living in could not be more faraway from each other. I mean he has this ginormous dream with something to do with aerospace (u said aerospace didn't u, K?) but in reality he knows he'll prob never even get outta here. For me, well u guys know...A chic apartment in the heart of NYC with a fantabulous view. I'm not saying it'll never happen but with the rate things are going, it looks like by the time I get that apartment, I'll be in my 50s! So what did K and i do when we were hit with this harsh realisation? Well we bought sizzle lollies and wasted time dreaming up silly stuff. A waste of a day? Not exactly...When u have only a month to waste, each day is valued with careful wasteage.

Did u guys watch the Princess Di Memorial Concert on Monday? I watched up to the point of Tom Jones and I actually snoozed off on the couch....I dunno if it was coz of the concert (I mean hello? 6 hours long? WTF?) or perhaps I was on drowsy meds....Well either way, it was one of the best snoozes I've had in a long time.

By the way, I think Diane Neal is hot. Oh and so is Josh Duhamel.
