I had an interesting morning. The company was invited by a certain joint for the launch of their breakfast. So, my colleague and I went to the invited location (ECP) around 8.55 since it was scheduled for 9. We dragged ourselves out of bed on a rainy and cold morning and went over. Of coz we wouldn't have gone, but the order came from the top so no dodging. Anyway, when we got there, there was nothing at all. We looked around and well, nobody was there. So we checked my email via the hp and there was an email mentioning that it was cancelled due to something. I was like - are you fucking kidding me?!' My coll and I were speechless (from hunger as well). So then we settled for a little toast cafe and had bf/k there. Sigh.
Didn't feel like going back to the office so we totally crashed at Starbucks. And this was the thing. It was just beautiful. Rain outside fogged the windows. It was cold. Christmas songs were playing inside and we had a cuppa each (Ok I didn't have a cuppa, I had an icy drink but still....). It jus felt so Christmas-y that I totally wanted to begin my writing there. But all dreams hve to end so we started out for the office. We took a stroll by the beach to get there which just intensified the feeling of cold, cozy and calm. I mite just use my future lunch hours to stone, think, dream, etc. at ECP. Yeah, it's not like the beaches in other countries, but it's still something better than nothing.
I have a busy Saturday. Media stuff, etc. Yawn.
The wall in front of my table is messing with my 'qi'.
I should really get back to my writing. It's almost 3.
