Death
Was reading a mag the other day when I came upon an article regrding the movie, THE HOURS. I remember watching it last year, all alone in J8. Set me thinking about death. What are we all doing? What are we all fighting for? Are we all just going to school, work, just to pass time till death claims us? What happens then? Where do we go? How do we know? Will we ever know the answers to these questions? Probably not. Then all this war, fighting, bloodshed among ourselves for power, money, etc. Trying so fucking hard for something you're not even sure of getting.Missing meals, missing time, missing fun stuff, missing out on life.....By the time we learn to sit back and relax, it's too late. And yet, I'm ashamed to say that I've joined this bandwagon of people who are struggling so hard, working their asses off, just to be part of society, to be someone, to be accepted. I hate myself for it but I see no way of stopping it. However, I'm trying to break out of myself and take time to smell the roses. Yeah of course, too much of chilling out, kills the spirit. But overworking the body and the mind doesn't bring about happiness.
